Sorry to hear that, Bamfette! I hope ya get better and a new store opens next door to ya real soon!!
Now guys, I just had to share because I'm dancing' in the clouds tonight!! I just got to meet Forrest Ackerman and got his autograph on a magazine my letter and photo was in about 7 years ago!!!!! For those who don't know who he is, the short story is that he's a big sci-fi and horror fan who collects memorabilia. His home in Hollywood is a museum, he founded the magazine Famous Monsters of Filmland and knew many of the great old stars like Vincent Price!!! I was soooo nervous to meet him, but he was a very nice old guy. He was here in Kansas City for a film festival all week, so this is the second time this week I've seen him, but the first I got to talk to him. YAY!!!

Happy (way belated) Birthday Bamfette!
I loved Shrek! That was the cutest movie ever!
And it looks like I won't have to go on a Jeff Martin deprivation induced killing spree after all! It turns out it's a promotional concert where people with season's tickets to the Roughriders (Saskatchewan's football team) get in free. And everyone else can just forget it. I freaked when I learned that little detail. I was preparing for mass slaughter. It's a good thing my dad knows someone with tickets and got them for me. Thank God, thank God for people who like football but don't care about Jeff Martin.

Bamfette, hope you're feeling better!
I saw A.I. this weekend, and it is amazing! Some people won't dig the story, but the cinematography is enough reason to see the movie. Plus, I got to see a trailer for Lord of the Rings! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif Excitement!!!

I was on a website that listed the "origins" of names, and it stated that Aubrey was German for "elf rule." I thought that rather interesting...

Did you try finding out what "Kurt" means? I looked it up in a baby names book once(no, I was NOT preggers!) and it said it means "honest advisor".

Huh, cool. I'll have to look next time I'm at Barnes and Noble. My name means "Little Jean." No, not Slarti, my real name. And what's worse, my SO's name is Scott. Uck.

I've seen a few meanings for my name.I've read it means "beautiful" and "distant place." My mom heard it on TV and liked it...the rest is history. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif
